Will Authorities Deport Daniela Krstic, Miss Oregon's Father?

Daniela Krstic, 24, was crowned Miss Oregon in June. But while she serves as queen of the Oregon pagent, her father may end up deported.
Daniela's father Milenko Krstic, 52, is accused of visa fraud and of being a member of a Serbian military unit that slaughtered unarmed Muslims in Bosnia in 1995. That's what the U.S. government says of the father of Miss Oregon, anyway.
Allegations are that Krstic lied when he sought refugee status and a green card. He didn't tell immigration officials that he was a member of the Bosnian Serb army's Zvornik Brigade. That unit took part in the massacre of thousands of Muslims from the village of Srebrenica.
A judge threw out Daniela Krstic's indictment in 2007, but this week that ruling was overturned by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Miss Oregon, Daniela Krstic said:
"We don't know what's going to come out of all of this, but we know that he is an innocent guy, a good guy. We hope that justice will surface. We have faith in our country, the United States of America. I'm a proud citizen of this country."
Daniela Krstic moved to the U.S. as a young girl and is the first foreign-born Miss Oregon. She failed to make the top 15 in the Miss America pageant, however, and thus didn't make the finals.
